Busoga Children's Center Organization
“HOPE NEVER DIES”
Company Overview
A non-governmental social education support organization, established in 2007, authorization granted by Benin government in May 2010:
The motto of the organization “HOPE NEVER DIES”
BACKGROUND
Busoga Children's Center is a child focused initiative which is local, national, international CBO with its head office in Jinja, Mafubira Sub County, Mafubira Parish, and Kyamagwa.
The organization was started in 2007 by Mrs. Kawala Winfred and some other Four developmental youth in Jinja after being faced with a big challenge of orphans and vulnerable children who are not accessing formal education and living in appalling situation of which this experience always reminded Mrs. Kawala Winfred of her own background for he lost his parent due to HIV/AIDS scourge and was helped by Government Of Uganda to access formal education and we together believe that the most viable way to liberate the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) of Uganda is to directly invest in their formal education for this will widen their horizons and opportunities.
Mrs Kawala Winfred grew up in misery, psychological torture and lack and even once lost hope of ever having access to what other children had and he realized that he was not alone but many more elsewhere, were in his same situation and to a larger extent with the orphaned children. It is against such convictions that we initiated Busoga Children's Center to raise funds and educate orphans and vulnerable children. The founders would like to send a message that losing a parent or both is not the end of the world because so many doors can still open what matters is how one chooses to go through the open doors. So if given a hand, OVC’s can regain hope and their lost glory.
In 2006 by God’s grace Mrs .Kawala Winfred started up a chicken project having got a loan and he managed to get some good profits of which in return to GOD, he decided in Jan 2007 to help four orphans and was joined by four other developmental youths with the same idea and together as five they decided to start up a new goat project and enlarged on the chicken project and out of both projects more profits were made and this gave them more yarning and inspiration to help more orphans and by the end of 2007, the number of orphans had raised 10 but still under their guardians’ monitor and care.
By mid-2008, the number of orphans reached 15 since the project had developed the more, a HEIFER Cow was bought, this brings daily income, and by God’s mercy and grace, thus year 2009 the orphans are 22, and to date C4DEV-U supports 37 orphans. We therefore call upon all the nations, individuals, well-wishers with helping hearts, and yet feel for the needy especially the AIDS orphans to rise up and stand in the struggle to help the orphans in Uganda so as to help them regain their lost glory. Remember the bible says in James 1:27 that PURE AND UNDIFIED REGION BEFORE GOD AND THE FATHER IS TO VISIT ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR TROUBLE AND TO KEEP ONESELF UNSPOTTED FROM THE WORLD.
